I have been playing guitar and singing for over 50 years and have recently begun songwriting. However, my limited vocal range was keeping me from expressing the emotions that I was writing into my songs. I decided to look for some voice coaching and found Shannon. In just my first lesson I learned that my range wasn’t my problem, but there were several other things that were keeping me from reaching the notes I wanted to sing. Just some basic stretching and breathing techniques and I already feel more open, powerful, and confident in my head voice, which I have always been afraid to use. I’m signing up to continue to work with Shannon and look forward to growing my skills!
